This means that with Art Council’s support and funding, we will be able to work in a more inclusive, and long-term way and continue to represent Black music and arts, increasing opportunity for people of all communities and backgrounds.

We are very lucky to be awarded this NPO status, and can now plan long-term for a high quality programme of projects, including Festival2Funky, And Still I Rise, Project LIVE & Take Off.

2Funky Arts Director Vijay Mistry said:
“We are beyond excited to have 3 years of ongoing support from Arts Council and will continue to work hard to ensure we bring the best projects and creative development for young artists. We know how vital our organisation is for young people, especially from ethnic minority backgrounds, and are grateful we have the support to give representation to all voices, and continue to champion arts and music of Black origin.”
