Leicester Mela Festival returns to Abbey Park for the first time in 20 years!
Leicester Mela Festival will be bigger than ever as it takes over Abbey Park during 17-18 August, for a 2-day celebration of authentic Indian arts, culture and entertainment.

Thousands of people will enjoy a spectacular day of Indian inspired arts, music, culture, food, fashion and entertainment.

Abbey Park will feature a main entertainment stage, showcasing some of the best international artists as well as local talent, from dancers, musicians and singers.

Headliners this year include Apache Indian, Sardara Gill (Apna Sangeet), Metz N Trix DJ Lyan & many more to be confirmed.

You can also expect a variety of stalls selling clothes, jewellery, confectionary, food and more, leaving you spoilt for choice at the Mela Bazaar.

To cater to all the family, Leicester Mela will include funfair rides by Billy Bates & Sons, a DJ tent providing an amazing party atmosphere for all ages, as well as a kid’s village full of fun activities, arts and crafts and more.
