Leicester Mela Festival 2024 was a 2-day celebration of authentic Indian arts, culture and entertainment.

The festivities took place in Abbey Park Leicester, during 17-18 August with over 15,000 people attending.

It was an amazing day full of glorious sunshine and lots of fun for all the family.

We had over 100 traders, providing amazing food, drinks, jewellery, clothing, art and more, leaving audiences spoilt for choice.

Our main entertainment stage had over 100 performers including top headliners: Apache Indian, Sardara Gill, Metz N Trix, Rita Morar, DJ Lyan, Joga Singh, Khushi & Rana Sahota.

As well as this we had a Red Bull DJ tent, playing the best Bollywood hits, and a kids corner that featured lots of activities from arts and crafts, dhol workshops, a puppet performance, funfair rides and more.
