Artist Case study: Lottie Dawe

Lottie Dawe is a funk house and dance singer who was part of our Project Live artist development programme in 2026.
At the early stages of her music career, Lottie had minimal experience performing live before joining the project. Her focus had previously been on writing music and recording in the studio.
She was drawn to Project Live because she wanted to develop her skills and take her artistry to the next level.
“I applied to project live to improve my stage presence and learn from the masterclasses, so that I could improve my knowledge within the music industry.”
After months of rehearsals and hard work, Lottie performed three original pieces of music alongside a live band, at our Project Live 2026 Summer Showcase.
“My favourite part about the project was working with a band and seeing my songs be built into something really special. We always had a laugh in rehearsals and it was so much fun!”
Project Live has played a key role in developing Lottie’s artistry. She feels the experience has had a significant impact on her confidence on stage, as well as helping her to expand her vocal skills.
Having gained such valuable experience and exposure through the project, Lottie is confident that things are only going up from here.
“My next steps are to start releasing my music! I’ve been trying to get as many performances as possible until everything is ready to go!”
Make sure to check out Lottie’s full performance from our Project Live Showcase, featuring her tracks Running, Soho and Rhythm of Sound.
