Leicester Mela Festival, bringing the community 2-days of incredible South Asian entertainment, music, food, fashion and culture.
On the 16th & 17th August, thousands of visitors came together to celebrate Leicester Mela Festival.
Highlights included the spectacular Indian Circus, which captivated audiences and proved to be a standout attraction.
Our newly designed bazaar layout received fantastic feedback and was bursting with vibrant and cultural offerings.
On both days we had incredible, top headliners who brought amazing energy, unforgettable performances, and had the crowd locked in from start to finish.
Saloni and Juggy D were Saturday’s headliners, whilst Navin Kundra and Veronica were Sunday’s headliners.
In addition to these main acts, we had a full programme of incredible performances from community groups and local talent, all of whom brought energy and spirit to the festival.
We coudn’t have made this happen without the generous support from oiur festival sponsors – Aspora, Tilda, Suhana – as well as Lyca Radio, our official radio partner and hosts across the weekend.
