Festival2Funky, our annual 3-day celebration of Black music, arts, and culture, returns for its 13th year with an exciting programme of events.

GET INVOLVED
LGBTQ+ ARTIST COMMISSIONS
We are looking for 2 artists who identify as LGBTQ+, to each develop a new 8-10 minute vocal performance piece to showcase at Festival2Funky, on Sunday 3rd May 2026.
FEE: £500 PER ARTIST
Artists must be aged 18+, be a vocal artist (rapper, singer, poet), reside in the East Midlands, and be free for the festival date – Sunday 3rd May.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
We are looking for a dynamic team of volunteers who are passionate about the arts and would like to gain events management experience. We have a variety of roles from content creation to ushering available.
