Belgrave Positive Lives

‘Our aim is to unite the diverse young people of Belgrave through positive dialogue, community engagement and practical activities’.

Our Belgrave Positive Lives youth project has helped to support 38 young people, over a mixture of group and 1-2-1 sessions, including online sessions, over the peak of lockdown.

Due to our partnership with Cossington United, we were able to provide positive activities to the youth, such as football, boxing, music, wellbeing and arts sessions and peer mentoring.
By focussing this project on sports and music etc, we were able to engage with young people who are from high risk areas and encourage positive discussions around topics like knife crime, role models and raising awareness of issues that youth people face.

This project is funded through the Violence Reduction Network and Community Led Response.
