Renowned author Bali Rai visited 2Funky Arts to speak about his career, his books and how young people can get started in the world of literature.

 

His discussions were extremely interesting, ranging from racial unity to his past jobs and how he decided to take the step to become a professional author. It was great to have him here at 2Funky Arts and we hope to work with him again in the future!

 

Who is BALI RAI?

Bali is a Leicester born and bred author, known for the 25+ books he has published including:

  • Rani and Sukh
  • (un)arranged marriage
  • The Last Taboo
  • What’s Your Problem?

He has been featured at the Edinburgh Festival, written many newspaper articles, won many awards, and toured hundreds of schools, libraries and community centres nationwide.
