Daljit Nagra Poetry Masterclass

Daljit Nagra Poetry Masterclass

Daljit Nagra joined us for a one off workshop in September to assist young people and members of the community with their writing and poetry. He read several poems from his collection and all workshop participants came away inspired to write.

It was fascinating to listen to how he generates ideas and gathers inspiration, basing his ideas on cultural and historical scenarios. It has inspired many of our young people to explore cultural themes so watch this space for more of their work!

Thank you Daljit for coming to work with us, it was a pleasure!

The Daljit Nagra Masterclass was part of the Everybody's Reading Festival, supported by Whatever It Takes. Base is supported by Big Lottery Young People's Fund 2.
