June Half Term
The June half term workshops were a complete success! Young people tried their hand at Singing, Photography and Graffiti Art across the course of one week.
The Singing workshops with Miss Fire covered Lyric Writing, Vocal Coaching and developed a group piece at the end. Young people worked together to develop lyrics and melodies.
Photography was a big hit with over 20 young people turning up to star either behind or in front of the camera. Leicester's young Musicians built up valuable portfolios to boost their profile in the community, and a new group of photgraphers have been inspired!
Graffiti Art focused on painting the 2Funky Art's BASE toilets, and the young people (who had never picked up a spraycan before) developed their art skills and painted brilliant, bold murals on the toilet walls.
Overall, it was a fantastic half term and we look forward to Summer 2010!
