2Funky Arts is delighted to announce their success in securing funding for an anti-racism themed social action project, engaging young people from Leicester City.
An accredited training programme for young people aged 16-20 will culminate in a high profile music seminar and performance event at 2Funky Music Cafe in Leicesterís West End. Our volunteers will plan and deliver this event under our guidance. They will also invite 20 local, young artists to perform, including vocalists, dancers and musicians. The seminar will explore the power of musician tackling racism, including a guest panel. With a high profile headliner, the performance will see an audience of 300 celebrate cultural diversity and unite against racism through music.
Our project has been funded by the Youth Social Action Programme. #iwill
