Festival2Funky 2016

Festival2Funky 2016
Call out to Artists and Volunteers

Now in its 3rd year, Festival2Funky will be a fantastic celebration of Black music and arts, running from 23-29 May 2016. This year, the festival will expand from a 1 day to a 7 day festival, based at 2Funky Music Café in Leicester’s vibrant West End. 2Funky Arts, the festival’s organiser, is appealing to local artists to get in touch if they would like to request a performance slot. 2Funky Arts is also on the lookout for people who would like to gain valuable experience and skills in the running of a high profile arts event, as volunteers.

The festival will encompass Reggae, Soul, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Afro beats, Funk, House, R&B, dub, spoken word and Jazz. Exhilarating live performances and open mic sets, across these genres, will feature alongside masterclasses, graffiti workshops, DJ sets, comedy, after-parties and lots more!

A festival wristband, priced at a mere £10, will allow one person entry into the entire 7 day festival.
A full schedule will be available in the run up to the festival, fromwww.2funkyarts.co.uk.

To perform or volunteer as part of the festival, or for further information, contact Vijay Mistry at 2Funky Arts on info@2funkyarts.co.uk.
