2Funky Comedy Jam & Afterparty

2Funky ComedyJam returned to Athena, in February 2015; back due to public demand. For 7years, 2Funky has been entertaining packed audiences from Leicester and beyondwith some of the finest acts on the comedy circuit.  And this show was no exception. The eventsold out the 850-seater and people travelled from all over the Midlands. Allcomedians smashed it, with great feedback from the audience.

Charismatic,up and coming comedian Aurie Styla was among those who took to the stage. “BigMan of Comedy” Geoff Schumann (The Real McCoy, Choice FM) was also on thebill.  Then there was Prince Harry 'White Yardie,' a social mediasensation and ‘one to watch’, with a pocket full of witty banter.  Katwas also a comedy force to be reckoned with (MTV Base, Hackney Empire). Lastbut not least was sensational headliner Slim (Best Male Comedian, UK BlackEntertainment Comedy Awards). A night of rip-roaring laughter, followed by anafter-party where comedians Geoff Schumann and Kat spun tunes until the earlyhours!  2Funky is now firmly establishedas one of the strongest Black comedy promoters outside of London. Check www.2funkytickets.co.uk for more comedy events with some ofthe finest acts on the circuit!
