Jaki Graham LIVE

Jaki Graham LIVE

UK singer Jaki Graham was live in Leicester at Abbey Sports and Leisure Club, on Saturday 3 May 2014, as part of a 70’s, 80’s & 90’s soul night.

After the gig, the vocalist spent time with her fans chatting and taking pictures. It was a night of top quality music, with an appreciative audience who partied until the end of the night. The singer was celebrating thirty years in music and sung a catalogue of hits.

The distinctive vocalist first broke the UK chart in 1985 with her duet of “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love,” with David Grant.  She then went on to earn five UK Top 20 hits within two years.  Her 1994 cover of Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” scored her a U.S Billboard Dance Chart number one.  Other notable tracks of hers include “Round and Around,” “Breaking Away” and “Set Me Free.”  In the last few years, the inspirational singer has toured with the likes of Sir Cliff Richard and Al Green, to name a few.

A pioneer of British music, Jaki paved the way for many female artists in the UK.
