Blaze Master Jam UK Qualifiers

Karam Singh, aged 15 from Derby, has won the UK qualifier for a high profile, international break dance competition. Managed by 2Funky Arts at The Music Café in Leicester, this event took place on Saturday 22 February 2014.  It saw b-boys and b-girls go head-to-head in the battle for the UK title.

Judged by a panel of special guests, the UK qualifier attracted 50 dancers from across the UK. Judges were Candy (MZK) Marso (MDK, TBB, Bboy's Attic) & Sharky (Blackout-Bassick, Cyprus). The competition was hosted by hip-hop wordsmith Berkavitch Berko, and DJs for the night were Jam Fu & Khan Fu.

The winner has scored a flight and accommodation for two night’s stay in Athens, Greece, to represent the UK in the BlazeMaster Jam International this April.

Blaze Master Jam International is a well-established annual competition that attracts participants from USA, Brazil, Cyprus, Israel, Germany,Switzerland, Holland, Serbia and other countries. This UK qualifier for this awesome competition will now be an annual event in Leicester.
