Maxi Priest Visits Base!

Maxi Priest Visits Base!

The February 2011 half term workshops finished on a high note, as reggae superstar Maxi Priest dropped into Base for an impromptu masterclass, and to listen to the young people's material.

He stayed and listened to all the young people's work, giving advice and guidance from his own personal experiences. After 10 albums, a Number 1 in America and countless live performances he knows a bit about the music industry!

It was a fantastic session and all the young people were buzzing after meeting one of the biggest superstars in the reggae world.
