Half term workshop - DJing with Kid J
Thursday's workshop was spent with Kid J learning how to spin and scratch some of the hottest tracks! Kid J gave the young people excellent tips for getting work as a DJ, and which equipment is the most useful for starting out. Kid J introduced the young people to turntablism and by the end of the session encouraged everyone to try out their own style on the decks.
Young people's feedback was very positive (all young people rated this as Excellent!) and our DJ workshops are continually packed out.
This fantastic half term workshop was made possible by Leicester City Council PAYP fund.
